With a PhD in Environmental Engineering and several years of experience working in a Water Utility and Regulator, Madhu’s work focuses mainly on water treatment and resource recovery from wastewater. He has a significant amount of experience in assessing the potential for wastewater heat recovery for Industrial, Commercial and Residential buildings and in trialling the performance of pilot wastewater heat recovery systems, especially in Industrial sites.

Using this experience and knowledge, Madhu can assess the viability of wastewater heat recovery in different applications and settings for interested parties in order to reduce heating expenses and carbon emissions.

This may include commercial settings (such as in restaurants), industrial settings (such as in food and beverage manufacturing) or in larger domestic settings (such as in student housing or apartments).

Madhu also facilitates workshops and training on the methods and general opportunities for wastewater heat recovery in Industrial and Commercial settings.
